  3. I must admit this is an adaptation of DeskDuck by Stuart Payne (hello Stu,
  4. waddaya think ?). It's easy to use, can be calming and relaxing, and can
  5. also be violent and sadistic. Hoorah you may say, the lord bringeth thou
  6. all-purpose desktop silly. Well, it goes like this :
  7.  
  8. Upon loading PotShot, a little duckie appears at the bottom of the screen
  9. swimming around your icon bar and quacking merrily. Moving the mouse just
  10. above the top of the icon bar and pressing the select button will throw some
  11. bread for the duckie, and it will see it and swim quickly to get it as it's
  12. not had a good burger and chips for ages (ummm, me too !). Well, that's the
  13. peaceful side of PotShot, you can feed it chunks of bread all day until it
  14. explodes - there are easy ways of making the duck explode, have you ever
  15. tried lacing the bread with TNT for instance or ....... If you move the
  16. mouse near to it, your pointer turns into a set of cross-hairs. With these,
  17. carefully position the middle over the duckie, making sure not to miss as
  18. this could injure the duck and it'd have to spend hours of recovery in the
  19. Animal Hospital and would have to suffer Rolf Harris and swarms of TV camera
  20. crews. When on target, hit Adjust and kaboom, duckie is no more ! The duck
  21. is dead, long live the duck. Don't worry, your cross-hair pointer comes
  22. readily equipped with the breath of life, and duckie can be brought back to
  23. life by choosing "Come Alive" (strangely enough) from the menu.

  25. Well, that's about it. This was written instead of writing an Intel 960
  26. disassembler during my programming lab. at university.
